The lebanese fashion designer, Robert Abi Nader, past collaborator at Yves Saint Laurent and Dior, chose the international model and movie blogger Nicole Macchi to wear one of his flagship creations from Mimo collection 18/19 on the red carpet of the 75. Venice Film Festival.

The outstanding creation was presented on the occasion of the ‘A Star is Born’ première that saw both Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper walk on the red carpet.

The dress represents the perfect synthesis between futuristic design and attention to detail.The shape was inspired by medieval armours, yet declined into a futuristic spirit, completely decorated with bronze metallic applications sewed on a technical fabric and edged with tiny sparkling crystals.

Nicole chose to complete her outfit with an amazon-like hair and make-up to better interpret the Knight spirit of the dress.

The blogger declared: “I am really proud to have been chosen by Robert, whom I have greatly admired for years. His ability to translating his passion for visual arts into real fashion masterpieces has always been a source of inspiration not only for myself, but also for many designers, that is why he’s been described as ‘the best designer of the Middle East’ Nicole also added: “today the cinema festival has hosted the great performer lady Gaga wearing a romantic pink gown. I was happy I was able to interpret another side of contemporary women, more daring and self confident.”
